SPRING IN THE FOREST AND GARDENS OF SRAVASTI ABBEY
As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. With the snowy winter and the wet spring, the meadows of the Abbey are ablaze with life and new growth.

With new raised beds, the veggie garden will hopefully produce an even greater abundance of fresh produce.
The flowers this year are huge and glorious. May they generate bliss in the minds of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

The Buddha garden statue is surrounded by a variety of trees and plants that evoke a mandala offering in the minds of people passing by.
A big hailstorm sweeps through the garden leaving a snowy lawn and damaged irises. It is a good meditation on impermanence. |
