Weekly Live-Streamed Teachings

Thursdays: Buddhist Reasoning & Debate

Thursday, 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time

Go to LiveStream: Buddhist Debate

The Course in Buddhist Reasoning and Debate is a follow-up text to Daniel Perdue’s first book on the topic, Debate in Tibetan Buddhism.  experience of teaching the principles of Buddhist reasoning to college students and adapting the Tibetan-style debate for English speakers. The course principally teaches us how to think clearly, preparing our minds to penetrate the nature of reality itself.

Ven. Thubten Chodron teaches this text weekly. Her contemporary style and clear explanations bring this practice very much alive.

The teaching is streamed live and recorded for archive. You can view archived teachings on ThubtenChodron.org.

Fridays: Gomchen LamRim

Fridays, 6:15 pm Pacific Standard Time

Go to LiveStream: Gomchen Lamrim

This is an excellent series for beginners!

In Tibetan, Lamrim literally means “stages of the path.” It is a form for presenting, step-by-step, the understandings we need to completely develop our minds to full enlightenment. This gradual method to steadily increase our compassion and wisdom is a hallmark of Tibetan Buddhism.

In Ven. Thubten Chodron‘s teaching, this 16th century Tibetan text is immediate and relevant to modern life.

The teaching is streamed live and recorded for archive. You can view it as series on ThubtenChodron.org.
