On Losar Day, the Tibetan New Year, Tushita Meditation Centre honors the anniversary of FPMT founder Lama Yeshe’s passing away. Following Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s advice, they have begun a tradition of inviting older students who knew Lama to share their favorite stories about Lama Yeshe to keep his memory alive.
One of Lama Yeshe’s early Western students, Ven. Thubten Chodron fondly recalls her studies with Lama Yeshe.
