How to Meditate
with Ven. Sangye Khadro
August 19-21
In person and online

What is meditation? Why practice it? Which techniques are best? How do I do it?
Ven. Sangye Khadro first published her best-selling book, How to Meditate, in1984 as a down-to-earth introduction and manual on meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Now in its 17th printing, the book is read in multiple languages around the world, inspiring meditators at all levels of experience to begin and/or maintain their practice.
In this short course, Ven. Sangye Khadro will give teachings, guided instruction, practical advice, and encouragment. Some of the meditations will also be led by Sravasti Abbey monastics. Beginners are welcomed. The course is also suitable for long-time meditators who want to deepen their practice.
While we encourage in person attendance, the course is also offered online.
All Abbey Dharma programs are offered freely, and your offering is welcomed. Make an offering here.
