August 30 @ 3:00 pm - September 2 @ 2:00 pm PDT

Ven Chodron teaching the Dharma.

Labor Day Weekend 3-day Retreat

Developing Concentration Meditation Retreat
with Ven. Thubten Chodron

August 30 to September 2

Abbess teaches.

A motionless figure seated cross-legged, eyes lowered, and radiating peace: this is, perhaps, the most universal image of Buddhist meditation. It may look simple, but that concentrated state comes from skilled instruction and lots of practice. And anyone can learn to do it.

Meditative concentration can be developed steadily over time. Join Ven. Thubten Chondron and teh Sravasti Abbey Community for a three-day weekend of instruction and practice. This retreat is excellent retreat for beginners and long-term meditators, too.

The retreat will be held in noble silence.

This retreat is in person only.

All Abbey Dharma programs are offered freely, and your offering is welcomed. A dana offering of $100 reserves your place in the retreat. There will be another opportunitiy to make additional offerings to the teacher and to the Abbey during the course. Make an offering here.
