♦ The Foundation of Buddhist Practice

A public talk with Venerable Thubten Chodron

Wednesday, April 15: 7:30-9 pm

This evening talk will be based on the second volume of The Library of Wisdom and Compassion, a series of books written with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Venerable Thubten Chodron will give clear and practical teachings on key topics at the heart of Buddhist practice, such as what determines what Buddhism is and what is not, and how to live a meaningful life.

The Buddha was once an ordinary sentient being just like us. How did he attain awakening, and what makes him a reliable guide to follow? Ven. Thubten Chodron shares the unique qualities of the Buddha and his teachings from her latest book Following in the Buddha’s Footsteps, the fourth volume of The Library of Wisdom and Compassion, a series she is coauthoring with His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the stages of the Buddhist path.
