September 18, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm PDT
COURAGEOUS AND KIND
A Series of Talks by Venerable Sangye Khadro
and other monastics from Sravasti Abbey
Mondays, Sept 11-Oct 30
6:30-8 PM
In person, at Create
900 W. 4th St., Newport WA
These are scary times. But there are things we can do with our thoughts to grow confidence, courage, inner calm, and the ability to relate to others with kindness and compassion—qualities that are good both for ourselves and for the people around us.
In these talks, Abbey monastics will share some of the wisdom and strategies that have made their lives better and hopefully will do the same for you (whether you are Buddhist or not).
Each session will include a short, guided meditation to relax, followed by a talk, and some time for Q-A and discussion. No meditation background is needed.
