We hear we should be compassionate people, but we’re not sure what compassion actually is. Holding other people with friendly regard and wishing to help them might sound like risky business, but Tibet’s Dalai Lama says that developing compassion is the key to happiness and joy. Let’s check it out!
Join Semkye and Tsepal—Buddhist nuns from Sravasti Abbey Monastery in Newport —for a 4-week series on Developing a Compassionate Open-Hearted Life. We will explore what compassion is, its many benefits, how to develop it, and how it can lead to a happier, more peaceful life.
