A Fearless Heart
with Ven. Sangye Khadro

Tuesday, April 2

6:30-8 pm Pacific Time

Edminster Student Union, Lake Coeur d’Alene Room, 2nd Floor

Abbess teaches.

Empathy, kindness, and compassion are beautiful qualities of the heart. Research shows they promote our physical and mental well-being. They are also good for others and the world. But sometimes it’s hard to care. We may be afraid to get involved, unsure how to help, or just feel overwhelmed by all the suffering we observe around us. However, with the right know-how and tools, we can overcome these obstacles and learn to be more empathic and kind.

In this talk, Ven Khadro will explain some practical methods for dealing with these and other obstacles, and cultivating greater empathy and kindness to develop a fearless heart.

In person at North Idaho College, Coeur d’Alene, ID, Edminster Student Union, Lake Coeur d’Alene Room, 2nd floor

Vens. Thubten Ngawang and Gyatso offer a follow-up talk with Q & A on April 3, Seeing Our Sameness.

All Abbey Dharma programs are offered freely, and your offering is welcomed. Make an offering here.
