Geshe Dadul will share his humor, love for the Dharma, and penetrating insight in a series of teachings on this beautiful 19th Century text. Said to be a favorite text of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, “One Hundred and Eight Verses Praising Great Compassion” offers inspiring guidance on the reasonings and methods for developing compassion.
Schedule
Geshe la teaches daily, Thursday through Tuesday, from 2-5 pm Pacific Time.
Sessions include teachings and Q & A, with a short break where needed.

About Geshe Dadul Namgyal
Geshe Dadul Namgyal is a prominent Tibetan Buddhist scholar. He holds a Geshe Lharampa degree (doctorate) in Buddhism and Philosophy from the Drepung Monastic University and a Master’s degree in English Literature from Panjab University in India.
Geshe-la is an author, professor, translator, and has served as auxiliary interpreter for His Holiness and Dalai Lama. He is now involved with Drepung Loseling Monastery-Emory University partnership where he is preparing a six-year curriculum in Modern Science for Tibetan monasteries and nunneries.
