What’s this all about?
Last year the Abbey invited friends to do the Shakyamuni Buddha practice, reciting the Buddha’s mantra and dedicating the merit to remove obstacles for building the new Buddha Hall. With a beautiful group effort, we surpassed our goal to recite 5 million Buddha mantras on the Day of Miracles. Now we’re looking toward a new goal of 7 million recitations. It’s a wonderful way to practice together in community.
