Buddhist perspectives on dying that help us to live with love, compassion, and forgiveness.
Ven. Sangye Khadro offers this weekend course based on her booklet, Preparing for Death and Helping the Dying.
Death is something we all inevitably encounter in life. We ourselves will die one day, and even before that occurs we will experience the deaths of those close to us: family, friends, pets, and so on.
In this course we will explore Buddhist perspectives on death and dying, as well as practices to prepare for our own death and help others who are dying. Course includes teachings, meditation, and discussion. The retreat is suitable for beginners as well as long-term meditators.
