Loving Kindness & Compassion in Daily Life with Geshe Chopa Tenzin Lhadron
June 24 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm PDT
The source of all happiness and well being is within our own mind. Practicing loving kindness and compassion are the keys to developing contentment and joy, no matter what is going on. And we can develop these states of mind in all we do. Geshe Lhadron’s talk will help us learn how.
Geshe Chopa Tenzin Lhadron from the Jamyang Choling Institute in Dharamsala, India is one the 20 recently graduated female geshes (equivalent to a PhD), the first in Tibetan history. She will give a public talk on Saturday, June 24, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Her English is excellent, and Geshe Lhadron’s journey to receiving the geshe degree is inspiring. Her bio is below.
Please join us to welcome this new geshe to the U.S. and rejoice in her groundbreaking achievement!
