New Book: Working With Anger
10 am-12:00 pm: Meditation & Dharma Talk on YouTube Live (check back for link)
Offered one Sunday a month, Sharing the Dharma Day is a chance for newcomers and old friends to explore the Buddha’s teachings and share in community fellowship.
The day includes a guided meditation (no experience necessary!), a Dharma talk, vegetarian potluck lunch (no garlic or onions, please), and facilitated group discussion. All are welcomed.
Topics are drawn from the book, Working With Anger, by Abbey founder and abbess Ven. Thubten Chodron.
People from all faiths and backgrounds can apply the principles explored on Sharing the Dharma Day to enhance their lives.

More about the teacher

She has published many books on Buddhist philosophy and meditation, including the ten-volumes of The Library of Wisdom and Compassion, co-authored with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, with whom she has studied for nearly forty years.
Venerable Chodron teaches worldwide and is known for her warm, practical, and humorous explanations of how to apply Buddhist teachings in daily life.
