Layer by layer, the Buddha Hall is built!

It might be self-evident: any new building rises from the ground up. What few people get to see is the layers upon layers of components that construct a strong and stable building. We are amazed to watch this process as Buddha Hall construction continues.

November brought many changes in weather—wet, cold, then snowy—without impeding construction. Gradually the outer walls are rising, but most of the action has been on the ground.

Many systems have components below the concrete slab foundation, including branch electrical lines, geothermal tubing, the radon system, and water pipes.

Now that those systems are installed, crews can pour the slab. We expect that to occur in the first week of December. May the weather cooperate!
