Ven. Thubten Chodron continues her line by line commentary on “The Foundation of Buddhist Practice,” co-written with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This year’s teaching covers the end of Chapter 3, then proceeds to Chapters 4 & 5: “Choosing Spiritual Mentors and Becoming a Qualified Disciple” and “Relying on a Spiritual Mentor.”

One Saturday per month volunteers come together to offer service to Sravasti Abbey. Service could include garden work, help in the forest, cleaning, or cooking — all skills and all levels of ability are welcomed.
