Venerable Thubten Chodron gives an overview of the diversity of Buddhist traditions based on Buddhism: One Teacher Many Traditions, a book she co-authored with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She shares excerpts from Chinese Chan masters’ teachings on sudden and gradual enlightenment and buddha nature, and reflects on the similarities and differences in presentations of the path according to different Buddhist traditions.
Ven. Chodron will give teachings on the “Buddhism: One Teacher, Many Traditions” at the request of Friends of Sravasti Abbey Russia and Ukraine. There will be consecutive translation into Russian.
